Health and Physical Education

At Ambassador School, Sharjah, Health and Physical Education (HPE) is mainstreamed into the school curriculum to enable students attain the optimum state of health. The course develops a wide range of skills and the ability to successfully use tactics, strategies, and compositional ideas among students. Through the range of experiences that PE provides, our students learn to be effective in competitive, creative and challenging situations. 

Our sport facilities include:

  • Football field with all-weather astro-turf
  • Basketball Court
  • Volleyball Court 
  • Tennis Court
  • Covered outdoor recreational play-area 
  • Outdoor fun play area with safe mini rides for Kindergarten pupils 
  • Multi-purpose, air-conditioned indoor play areas 
  • Air-conditioned sports rooms for Indoor games like Chess, Carrom, Table tennis etc. 

The sports and physical education facilities at Ambassador School offer a flexible provision to meet the needs of all our students.

Games and Sports

  • Sports hold an important and prominent place in the school curriculum and immense stress is laid on regular games and sports being played by the students to keep them physically fit and mentally alert.
  • Students at Ambassador School, Sharjah are trained by professional coaches in a wide range of sports including: 
  • KG 1 and 2 - Football, Fun Races, Calisthenic drills, Yoga, Various Fundamental and  Recreational Games
  • Grade 1 & 2 - Football, Basketball, Cricket, Athletics, Track Events, Fundamental Games, Calisthenic drills, Carrom, Yoga & fun recreational games 
  • Grade 3 & 4 - Football, Basketball, Cricket, Athletics track events, Badminton, KHO - KHO, Calisthenic drills, Carrom, Chess & Yoga
  • Grade 5 and above - Football, Basketball, Cricket, Volleyball, Throw ball, Athletics, Track and Field Events, Badminton, KHO - KHO, Calisthenic drills, Carrom,  Chess, Table Tennis & Yoga
  • Various sports are played within the school to give maximum students an opportunity to play organized competitive games and to develop in them the essential qualities of sportsmanship, brotherhood and comradeship.
  • Various interschool and intra school sports competitions are regularly organised for the students in various disciplines of sport at frequent intervals.
