Curriculum - Grades

Ambassador School, Sharjah follows the Indian curriculum of the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) while the medium of instruction is English. It entails the latest educational trends and techniques based on Higher Order Thinking Skills (HOTS) and offers a wide variety of hands-on application avenues that make learning both rewarding and meaningful.

Learning happens in a stress-free and progressive environment involving all stakeholders in education comprising students, teachers, parents, management and the governing board for the prosperity and accelerated growth of the school towards achieving excellence and fulfill the vision of the school. In keeping with the current directives of the CBSE, through our enriched curriculum our teachers help students think critically, solve problems, be creative and apply multidisciplinary approaches, to inspire, inquire, innovate and adapt, in novel times.

Primary: Grades 1 to 4 

Curriculum in the Primary Grades encompasses both scholastic and coscholastic subjects, like, visual and performing arts, sports, health education, STEAM integration, choice of second languages (Hindi, French, Urdu, Tamil and Malayalam) in addition to Science / Environmental Studies, Math, English, Social studies along with the mandatory Ministry of Education subjects like Arabic, Moral education, UAE Social Studies and Islamic Education.

Middle School: Grade 5 to 8

Curriculum in the middle years also continues to be the same as the Primary years with an added focus on enhancing the scientific temper and skills. The Middle School offers a broadened curriculum to match the growing abilities of children in assimilating information and grasping abstract ideas with the aim of progression of skills in all the subject areas. There is ample scope for physical, intellectual and social development of students in addition to imbibing 21st century learning, literacy and life skills.

Senior School: Grades 9 & 10

Secondary Curriculum provides students a broad and balanced understanding of subjects including languages, Mathematics, Science (Physics, Chemistry, Biology) and Social Science (History, Geography, Economics, Civics) to enable students to communicate effectively, analyse information, take informed decisions. The choice of second languages offered are Hindi, French, Urdu and Arabic. Students also acquire knowledge and skills in Art, Physical Education, STEAM and Information Technology.

The curriculum of school across all Grades aims to make education more well-rounded and focused for the learner by incorporating values, 21st century skills, social, emotional learning and wellbeing as part of the integrated approach. The collaborative learning approaches embedded in the daily classroom process, enable our students to be life long learners with global perspectives.
